how's my driving

Nudge doesn't get a lot of page time in the books, and I've added my own spin to her in many ways, as well as added to things that were simply mentioned, but not built up: her inquisitiveness, her spunkiness, her easy-going nature, and spasticness. James Patterson is kind of inconsistent with characters who might be seen as peripheral to the story. He says that Nudge loves computers, and is a computer genius, but after the first couple of books, we hardly ever even see her using the laptop, except when Max needs something. He talks about how much she adores Fang, but when Fang leaves, does he show any reaction from her? No! What about that burning desire for parents; he just sort of drops it by the wayside.
So, in writing Nudge, I'm really trying not to let those little things fly by, but instead incorporate them all in her characterisation. Yes, she is a fashion-loving blabbermouth, and I don't intend to downplay that, but I don't want to overplay it either! She's a complex, multifaceted little girl, and I want to show that. SCREW YOU JP. >O
That said, if you ever see anything off in the way I write her, please do say. :)
